In our last deep dive on DMT cart testing, we delved into the differences in testing DMT vape carts, versus testing DMT powder.
We determined that DMT vape carts can—and should—be tested with reagents, in order to confirm the substance present in your vape cart. However, the color change reactions with DMT vape liquid will differ slightly, compared to testing freebase DMT or DMT HCl. Specifically, for testing a DMT vape, we opt for our LSD Spot Kit Package, instead of our DMT Spot Kit Package, which was designed for testing standard forms of DMT.
How to Extract DMT from a Vape Cart
In our last post, we emphasized that when testing a DMT cart, one of the most important steps is to drop vape liquid out of the cartridge to test it, and to not drop any test kit liquid into the cartridge itself. This is very important—dropping test kit liquid into your DMT cart will make your liquid toxic to consume!
We wanted to expand upon the steps for extracting liquid from a vape cart, especially with carts that may not present an obvious way to access the vape liquid.
